David Thomson didn’t come up through the polished lanes of education. He came up through chaos, dyslexia, poverty, and a home where strength mattered. By 16, he left school with zero qualifications. By choice, he joined the army to build discipline, then climbed into financial services and discovered something that quietly changes lives: you can earn your way out by learning how to talk to people.

The turning point wasn’t money. It was confusion. David kept asking a simple question nobody could answer: how do you do this professionally? So he did what he’s done his whole life, he built a system. He studied persuasion end to end, worked with world-class teachers, then got certified by Dr. Robert Cialdini to teach the science of influence. And that’s where he hit the real problem: people can’t retain what they don’t have to perform.

That’s the deeper insight behind Suada (named after the goddess of persuasion): most education measures exposure, not competence. David’s “teach-back” model forces a different kind of learning, where people must explain it on video, in public, and prove they can do the thing. That changes self-image, finds hidden talent, and creates a culture where trust comes from visibility, not vibes.
