About
Dr. Greg is a naturopathic physician and Chinese medicine practitioner focused on brain neuroregeneration and the future of Parkinson's care. He blends regenerative therapies with frequency medicine—using sound and light—to help create real, lasting change in human health. A radical optimist at heart, he's on a mission to bring hope, science, and practical healing together for the next era of medicine.
Eight years ago, Dr. Greg Eckel was a physician who believed in healing. Then his wife was diagnosed with a rare, rapidly progressing neurodegenerative disease. Within months, she could not speak or feed herself. Within 18 months, she was gone. What followed was a crash course in humility, grief, and a question that would redefine his life’s work: Why do we accept decline as inevitable?
In the middle of heartbreak, Greg went searching. He studied misfolded proteins, frequency medicine, trauma, toxicity, and the deeper mechanics of neurodegeneration. What he uncovered became the foundation of bVital in Park City, Utah—a bioenergetics center focused on brain regeneration, prevention, and helping patients reclaim agency in the face of diagnoses that traditionally offer little hope. This conversation moves beyond Parkinson’s and stem cells. It is about identity. About what happens when a diagnosis becomes a label. About masculinity and asking for help. About grief, forgiveness, and the courage to say: I am not my condition. Greg shares why he tells patients, “You are a person with a diagnosis. You are not Parkinson’s,” and why curiosity may be the most powerful medicine we have.
